I honestly didn't much care for Mal in Inception. I thought she was a manipulative b***h, even if the idea that her waking world was a dream was implanted in her mind.

Claire Brewster from the Beetlejuice TV series. She is the very definition of a spoiled rich girl: obnoxious, cruel, vain, and thinks she better than everyone else.

The main reason I hated that movie was cause the daughter's (Winona Ryder's) boyfriend was a dick to him and got him into trouble. Good thing Edward (Johnny Depp) used his scissor-hands to kill the bastard at the end.

Ah, you're speaking about the movie Edward Scissorhands. Jim really was a huge jerk with no redeeming qualities. Definitely one of the most despicable characters in a Tim Burton movie.

Yes, I hated that guy in the movie.

Me, too, but I think Joyce was even worse. She lied about Edward raping her just because he ran away when she tried to seduce him.

So the saying goes: "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned." It kind of irritates me that she never got her comeuppance in the end like Jim did.

Scorned or not, she was wrong for doing that, and I agree, she should have been punished for it.

James Potter from the Harry Potter books. He was an a-hole who bullied his crush/future wife's best friend just because they were in another Hogwarts house. News flash: Not all Slytherins are evil. Bullying is never okay. I was glad that he apologized for his hand in the prank that nearly killed Severus Snape but the Marauders still shouldn't of done that.

Yeah, I always had sympathy for Snape and when I got to the bullying part by James Potter, I found out why. I guess with me being bullied as a kid, that's why I think that way.

I came to this thread JUST to put James Potter. I love my fellow Aspies for beating me to it. I will never tolerate bullying since I also was bullied as a kid.

I second that, but I came to this thread to put Harry. I never liked him from the beginning and thought he was an egotistical jerk who didn't treat his friends very well and was ungrateful to everyone who helped him. He never learned humility by the end of the series, either.

Lois from Malcolm in the Middle:
She is obviously not a good role model to her sons. She is overbearing, and all she does is yell at them and sometimes threaten the poor boys. And what does Hal do to stop this? Absolutely nothing. Ironically, he was the one who started this mess by asking Lois to show more discipline. Well, that was way too much discipline, if you ask me.

Marie from Everybody Loves Raymond:
She thinks she is a know-it-all who gets all the pleasure out of criticizing Debra for being bad at cleaning, cooking, etc. Marie is also overprotective of Ray and Robert at times. I could not believe Frank got married to her.

Most of the Banks Family on the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air:
I feel that Philip is too strict on the children at times, and Vivian sides with him most of the time. Whatever happened to sisters doing it for themselves? Also, Hilary is a perky narcissist who only cares about herself. I also don't care for Carlton because he is annoying and can sometimes be a real jerk. I only like Will, Ashley, and Nicky.

Riker, William T, murderer, who zapped a woman in front of the captain. Another atrocity he did was playing God and reversing Wesley Crusher's death by bayonet.

Justin Bieber is quite a badly-written character also.

Betty from Mad Men.

She's not as sweet as she protrays herself to be.

Bendy (the yellow guy) from Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends, due to his being not just an irredeemable jerk but a Karma Houdini on top of it.

Lauren Faust herself even said she regrets having his episode end that way.

Blythe from Littlest Pet Shop. I wish it was just the pets without Blythe, it would be much more interesting in my opinion.

Also Axl from The Middle, because he is rude and self-centered.

I get really annoyed by any character that doesn't have strong, strong motivations for their actions, so that explains why I don't watch a lot of television or movies. I personally thought Catwoman was always annoying as hell, especially when played by Anne Hathaway. It wasn't so much a character or a realistic person as someone oozing attitude with very little behind it, more like her doing a terrible Jessica Rabbit impersonation. I thought she came across like a dips**t with no morals who was supposed to be "good" by the end of the movie. Then again, I've never seen a woman in a Nolan movie that I thought was believable or likeable.

I love to hate Anderson from Sherlock.

I genuinely hate: the terrible mother from The Walking Dead, Skylar from Breaking Bad, Rita from Dexter, I hated Deb from Dexter for a long time before she started to develop her own talent and not just ride on her brother's coat tails, but I like her now.

Oh, I guess there is another one.... Myron, from Fallout 2.

...but I don't hate him like I hate Wesley. I hate Wesley because at best he's a w*ker and at worst he's a poorly conceived, one-trick-pony character. How many times do we need to see boy-genius save the day?

By contrast, I hate Myron because he is a completely despicable, thoroughly obnoxious, fantastically written/performed character.

In short:

I hate Wesley.

I LOVE to hate Myron.

You do realize that Wesley was Gene Roddenberry's favorite character, n'est-ce pas?

If anyone here has ever watched Leave It To Beaver, Eddie Haskell is definitely someone you'd love to hate. He puts on such a nice act for the adults, but screws the other kids every chance he gets.
