It's hardly a flame war, i just find Jamesy's recurring habit of repeating himself extremely annoying. His constant need for changing the subject is getting incredibly tedious, whenever i try to be civil, he simply repeats himself over and over again like a broken record.

And besides, im far from homophobic.

The same could be said for you, Jamesy. Since im in a good mood today, let me make one thing perfectly clear. Not everybody shares your opinions, you just need to get off your high horse, stop repeating yourself and accept the fact that your not going to convert, force or brainwash people to your way of thinking.

this might've been said already, but jamesy is arguing like a christian. he tries to brainwash people into his beliefs, repeats himself over and over, acts all holier-than-thou, makes little sense, and ignores all of our opinions because he thinks he is right

Jamesy, I think overall everyone's been giving you excellent arguments.

The fact that you even needed to say something like that is mildly insulting.

The reality is this: we don't agree with you, and we told you several reasons over why we don't. If you prefer Silver Age Batman over Batman as he's meant to be then that's your cup of tea; just remember you're talking to people in a thread who love Batman. It would be like me going into a Star Wars forum, and telling everyone why I think Boba Fett is so lame; what would be the point?

Why do you come into a thread dedicated to those of us who love Batman when you're obviously not a fan? Do you really want attention that badly? I don't get it.

But seriously, don't ever even say such a thing about "how we're disagreeing with you". And we have perfectly good reason to. You actually got offended earlier on and said "am I not allowed to state my opinion?", and you completely were...and now you have the nerve to knock us for not only stating ours, but offering a very consistent argument?

Saw Batman and Robin last night and although the plot is bad there is something quite enticing about the movie i don't know maybe its the style of gotham city or the fact that it is bad makes it quite amusing to watch. Defenintly enjoyed watching it more than the Dark Knight and this is without cinema mode on my tv.

Did you smoke some cheap crack this morning? I swear your trying to start an argument just to make yourself feel better. Batman and Robin is a total insult to the legacy and history of Batman, but then again, i guess you like movies with cheesy puns and a clunking Arnie. But, it's your opinon, no matter how bone-headed and narrow-minded it is.

TDK has more quality in one whole shot than that 4th abomination.

Yeah but how come Batman and Robin held my attention span for the entire film yet TDK made me drift off 10 minutes into the film?

Well, Joel Schumacher must be your favourite director in the whole wide world, right? And your probably one of those narrow-minded fanatics who want the whole cinematic world crammed with cheesy puns and homoerotic close-ups of buttocks and nipples.

The facts don't lie, TDK took more money at the box office than B and R,. Why must you insist on forcing your opinions down our throat? Some of us want a decent debate without you constantly repeating yourself 24/7.

 I know but there some quite amusing parts of batman and robin. i liked the mr snowman song at the early parts of the film that was funny.

To be honest before I saw Batman Begins i was expecting it to be like batman forever that is why i was dissapointed.

 Is that the only reason? B and R is the cinematic equivalent of a joke.

I like films with interesting plots but not where batman is concerned. And no that is not the only reason why I liked Batman and Robin. Its just one of those films that is nice to watch after a hard day at work and makes me laugh a bit. I would even go as far as saying batman and robin and batman forever are my favourite batman films of all time.

I hope batman 3 has more comedy in it.

B and R's plot wasn't exactly interesting, it was like Forever's theme, namely the Saturday morning cartoon route. If i want comedy, i'll watch Bottom, The Young Ones or South Park, at least they don't pass themselves off as cheesy!

Not true, not true at all. Stereotyping me won't solve anything, im far from emo and hate the phrase itself. Must you label people for watching films they love? It has NOTHING to do with the TRUE emo music genre from the 80's. And if i like depressing sleep inducing films, then why is Aliens is my all time favourite? Simple, it's just the best sci-fi sequel ever. Is that sleep inducing? Nope.

Sorry Jamesy, you fail big time on that one. Your what we call a sanctimonious p**ck.

And Batman Begins and TDK are hardly disappointing, think of them as a rebirth after Schumacher raped the franchise and put it on life support from 97 till 05.
