Last night I watched:

This Island Earth [1955]
<=>"The supreme excitement of our time!"

Classic 1950s Science Fiction film. Perhaps not one of the very best but definitely one of the better.

The Cursed.

The children of local 19th century rural British landowners, who had massacred a group of Gypsies, find themselves paying for the sins of their fathers when they are cursed to become werewolves and murder their families. Much better than how most critics disparaged it. Reminiscent of the old Hammer horror flicks.

The Batman.

Rewatched maybe the best Batman movie so far.

What is your opinion about Paul Dano's performance?

Last night I watched:

Room Service [1938]
<=>"The Howling Hit That Kept Broadway Roaring for 61 Weeks...
<=+=+=>and Now It's 61 Times as Funny!"

With Groucho, Chico, and Harpo Marx...and a still-in-her-20's Lucille Ball.

I enjoyed it.

Loved it. I think his Riddler is based largely on the Hush graphic novel.

Last night we watched two movies:

Sing [2016]
<=>"Auditions begin 2016"

Sing 2 [2021]
<=>"Where will your dreams take you?"

Movies such as these usually are more to my bride's taste than mine. And she is definitely more into music than I am. So I like it when I can surprise her with a new movie that she didn't know existed (Sing 2), that I know she will enjoy, and that I will also enjoy. And, yes, we did both enjoy both movies.

Good movies!

Last night we watched:

Mr. Jones [2019]
<=>"1933, The Holodomor. The Most Important True Story You Will Ever Watch."

A bit slow and dark for my taste and I admit I had to look up "Holodomor" but given what's currently going on in the Ukraine...WOW.
