What is your opinion about Mahershala Ali being the new Blade for the MCU?

He is a good actor so it might be good.

I *finally* got to see Terminator: Dark Fate!

I liked the fact it continued directly from Terminator 2: Judgement Day. The other films they made went off at a tangent and tried to be too clever.

However it was interesting that I wasn't very impressed with the special effects. These days I've seen them all before. When I went to see Terminator 2, I remember being astounded with the awesome CGI that I'd never seen before and I came out of the cinema buzzing.

I think we're pretty spoilt by special effects now :?

The special effects which impressed me most were:
when we saw the very young John and Sarah Connor at the beginning when the rogue T800 killed John.

Not the battles or Terminators.

I loved that film. The audience in the cinema clapped at the end.

Honeydew.

A young couple stranded in the woods are given shelter by an elderly farm woman with a younger man, who seems brain damaged, who she claims is her son. The story seems nonsensical until, when it finally makes sense, the reality is truly horrific.

Mothers Day 4/6 , horror with crazy mom and 2 inbred sons terrorize 3 hiking women......okay i guess , not as good as F13

Comfort of strangers 5/6 , 2 lovers go to Venice on vacation in this drama/thriller , Walken steals the show here imo

Nope
I really enjoyed it. I really think it is a classic in the making. Beautiful horses too.

I'm old enough I saw it in the theater. It is a good film and having real weightlessness was stupendous.

I noticed that the film made Jim Lovell look a bit more heroic than the other two astronauts and that coincidentally he was a technical consultant for the film (and now I see on IMDb he was also one of the writers).

The film did make me feel old, though. I had co-workers young enough that they didn't know how the film would end. Did they survive?! :?
