Last night we watched:

Synchronic [2019]
<=>"Time is an illusion"

Reasonably good. Certainly watchable.

Last night we watched:

Tenet [2020]
/\/"Time Runs Out"

It was directed by Christopher Nolan and it won an Oscar for "Best Achievement in Visual Effects". Set your expectations accordingly...and I think you'll be about right.

The movie is about time travel, sort of. It isn't so much about traveling from Time A to Time B but rather that some things are moving the wrong way in time. And some people, as well.

If I had a suggestion to them I would say they nearly caught the feel of a James Bond film but fell short. Maybe they could've but more swagger into the protagonist. In any event, it is definitely a "big" and excellent science fiction film.

Recommended.

Unfortunately I watched a film called Hello, Goodbye, and Everything in Between yesterday.

Not good at all. It was basically a series of montages of the characters doing activities, before the viewers had a chance to get to know them or empathise with them. It looked like the actors having a party and enjoying themselves while the viewers just had to watch passively.

A very badly written film (the actors did their best) but excellent to watch after a hard day's work when you want to switch your brain off. I'm not even sure how it ended, I'd lost interest. :lol:

It's a very good movie for it's time as, it was the opening to the Rod Serling Night Gallery TV series as a whole.
It may not be horrific, but it's suspenseful
