I love Rory! I really hope this means he's going to be more involved in the next series, like a real companion.

One of the surprises about this season was the fact that Rory and Amy had such a strong love story... I wasn't expecting something as schmaltzy as undying love being a story arc, and wow, didn't it work well? Personally I can't help but love Rory now... "the boy who waited."

I wonder, will he remember his time as an auton? Imagine all the knowledge he'd have acquired in nearly two thousand years, even if most of it was spent going quietly mad while trying to protect Amy.

I've also been wondering if he'd remember his time as an auton. There are some people speculating whether or not he's still an auton, but it wouldn't make any sense for him to be because events were reset. Except were they? Because Amy and Rory can still somehow remember everything that happened even though it didn't. Well now I'm not sure; it's totally confusing as to what exactly happened at the end as far as timeline and events, and whether or not Rory is still an auton. I think they'll probably have him as a normal human though.

Apparently there is a line of dialogue that suggests that Rory does remember his time as an Auton. He does say 'I was plastic'.

If anyone still looks at this forum..

Not strictly Doctor Who but did anyone see Sherlock last Sunday?

Stephen Moffat wrote it and I think he's transfered alot of the Doctor into him. Including one scene that looks like it's been lifted from the Eleventh Hour.

Anyone who did watch it.. Did you work out who the killer was before the end? I managed to get it quite early from a comment that was like another BBC drama, Paradox.... Or was it Luther... I probably watch too much TV..

^ I haven't seen it yet but I really want to! I've been waiting for it for months because I'm a big fan of Mark Gatiss also, who wrote the final episode.
