Baywatch Pilot or Baywatch: Panic At Malibu Pier

The show was shot on 35mm film. The remaster looks fantastic. It's a decent intro to the series. Better if you've seen Twin Peaks or other things with Madchen Amick, since it's kind of her movie. She's good as always playing a young woman that gets too attached to the lifeguard who saves her life, despite him having a wife. Other characters have some nice moments too.

Postmen in the Mountains (1999)

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0210916

Quote:

An old postman has spent his whole life delivering mail to the mountain of Hunan and is about to retire. His only son is due to take over his duties. As father and son journey through the mountains, the son begins to appreciate the toil and burden his father has to bear as postman for the villagers, and the old postman is also deeply moved as his son relates his mother's anxiety as she waits for him to return home from every trip.

I highly recommend it.

I have always loved Shrek ʕ ꈍᴥꈍʔ. It came out when I was one years old, and according to my parents Shrek, along with SpongeBob was always playing in our house. I used to go to "Shrek parties" or "Shrarties" in high school where a group of friends and I would basically just watch all of the Shrek movies. It is a timeless art piece ʕ ﹷ ᴥ ﹷʔ

Alice In Terrorland.

A descendant of the famous Alice goes to live on her grandmother's estate where the Wonderland book had its origin. From there, she begins experiencing not wonder but horror as she drops into poison inspired hallucination.
Could have been a good movie, but too disjointed.

I like it but none of the (few) people I've shown it to have.

it was, to borrow/paraphrase from ted turner, "...a movie that, while i wouldn't walk out on it before it finished, neither again would i necessarily wish to see it again."

Last night I watched:

Monkey Business [1931]
<=>"Their Clowning Achievement!"

The Marx Brothers are hilariously chaotic and watching this movie now seemed sort of appropriate.

Possibly this. If so, not exactly great, but reasonably good.
