Another great movie with Jack Lemmon, Jane Fonda and Michael Douglas made in 1979 called "The China Syndrome". I seen this about a year ago.

Sounds interesting! I will have to watch this.
For further insight, check the cast. The two lead characters are played by Dustin Hoffman and Robert De Niro. And I was surprised by how significant a presence Willie Nelson was.

Awesome! Very cool that Dustin Hoffman played in it too and Robert De Niro! I'll have to check it out :)

I watched The Fall Guy the other night but didn’t really like it. Too much bad dialogue and in-jokes

Watched on Max

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (2024)

Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)

I wasn't really in the mood for people abusing people and creating destruction. I was hoping for John Oliver, but I don't think Last Week Tonight was on last night. Maybe it is just late posting. As for the people abuse and destruction, I adjusted to that and Anya Taylor-Joy's alien eyes.

Now I'm watching Mad Max. Then I'll watch Mad Max 2:The Road Warrior. Maybe Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome.

I've seen Mad Max a few times before, but it has always been the one where Mel's voice was dubbed in. He was a youthful 23 years old when he first played Max. Everything is so much better not being dubbed, and I don't even need subtitles.1

1 - reference to my enjoyment of un-dubbed Korean and Japanese films, and series with subtitles.

Mad Max (1979)
I enjoyed this much more than when I originally saw it on VHS back in the 1980s with my then wife. I've seen it a couple times since, but I believe American actors dub in the voices. The original acting talent was much better.

Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior (1981)
The first Mad Max film I saw, back in the '80s. I think (???) I saw it when it was released, and I definitely saw it many times on VHS. Initially my wife and I checked it out, but I checked it out many more times.

Mad Max Beyond Thunderdone (1985)

More light hearted than the previous two. It as a very '80s feel to in with the costume design. This was my wife's favorite of the initial three.

Trivia I learned.
The actor that played Master, Angelo Rossitto, was in the 1932 Tod Browning film Freaks. I find that mazing! More amazing than he was also in The Wizard of Oz.
He was also in the 1928 MGM film, While the City Sleeps, with Lon Chaney (my mind is saying Lon Chaney like the kids say Captain Walker). Angelo was in a LOT of films, often uncredited. He lived to be 83. I hope he was comfortable.

Tortilla Flat -- not bad. Rather enjoyable.

Last night I watched:

Unknown World [1951]
<=>"Drilling into the forbidding depths of the earth!"

Some scientists worry that the surface of Earth might become inhospitable so they build a vehicle that will allow them to explore deep under the surface of the Earth to look for someplace else Man can live.

Fortunately for them, in the movie's reality, the center of the Earth is not molten.

Not a very good movie but a tolerable way to waste some time.

Sex-Positive starring this young lady, Katherine Ellis.

https://www.youtube.com/@imkatherineellis

Refreshing, actually and it would seem one of the top ten movies on Starz, despite not having a single user review on IMDb. Ms. Ellis is a credit to her generation.

My mom, my NT sister and I have seen this one before and we liked it again this time.

This is a great "creature feature" that hardly has any gore and not much CG in it.

I saw this a month ago and really enjoyed it. I'm not a moon landing denier either but thought it was entertaining.

House Of Hammer.

No, this isn't about the British Hammer Studio. Rather, this is a three part documentary about the allegations against actor Armie Hammer, and how his history of alleged physical, sexual, and psychological abuse has its roots going back to his great grandfather who had sired a wealthy dynasty of evil, dysfunctional people. Makes me think my family was actually rather normal.
