What exactly are you trying to prove, Jamesy? That the world is wrong, and you are right?

Well kinda. Nolans films don't offer the same type of escapisim as Schumachers films.

not really. it is just flashy colors, horrible dialouge, cheesy one-liners, and homoerotic undertones

i will deny what you say because you are not intellegent. your opinion doesn't matter to me. you are dillusional.

true. not everyone likes the dark knight. but very little people like batman forever. they like The Dark Knight better than Batman Forever. if anything, YOU are arguing with the world. The Dark Knight is more critically acclaimed than Batman Forever. The Dark Knight is the 3rd highest grossing film of all time in the United States (28th, adjusted for inflation), while Batman Forever is 125th highest grossing film of all time in the United States (133rd adjusted for inflation). people like the dark knight better.

Well Batman Forever offers you something the Dark Knight can't ESCAPISIM.

And to be honest what made Batman Forever so fun and timeless was its humour and the cheesy aspect.

In my opinion Batman Forever is far better than the Dark Knight. At least in batman forever harvery den't is actually a belivable villian.

To be honest Batman Forever made me laugh more than the Dark Knight and Batman Begins and overall I enjoyed it a lot more. Really if I wan't to watch thrillers I will watch films like Insomnia or Falling Down. I for one don't care that much about batmans past.

So what if I enjoy Schumaers s**t fest that Batman Forever? I am sure I am not the only one?

NOT TO MENTION THE ACTING WAS BETTER IN BATMAN FOREVER.

That's your opinion. The vast majority of the world disagrees. So, you're free to enjoy Batman Forever more than the Dark Knight, but you can't make definitive statements like "Nolan's films are worse" or "Nolan's films are boring" or "Batman is supposed to be camp". It serves no purpose. Just accept that you have opinions that are wildly deviant from the general consensus, and, indeed, Batman as he was originally envisaged.

no it is not. also, batman isn't about escapism

Batman Forever isn't timeless. Also, most people, myself included, HATE the humor and camp value.

Two-Face's makeup in Forever is fake and stupid. Also, he laughs too much. Forever's Two-Face keeps flipping until he gets what result he wants. Dark Knight's two-face looks scary. Two-Face in Dark Knight, also in the comics, flips the coin once, gets the result, and proceeds with the action (heads=good, tails=bad), never questioning it

Batman is not about comedy

the film is called Batman BEGINS!! !! ! READ THE DAMN TITLE!! !! !

I don't care if you do. But the fact that you keeps saying Batman Forever is better than The dark Knight really irritates me

no, the acting was FAR better in The Dark Knight (especially from heath ledger). The acting in Batman Forever is attrocious (especially from chris o'donnell)

I'm beginning to suspect that you are a troll. no one can say things THIS idiotic

Yeah, that's REALLY stupid. It totally goes against the whole point of his character.

None one can say TDK is better than forever. Come back to me when TDK has a U2 song and robin- then maybe it will have a chance!

Batman Forever is NOWHERE near the Dark Knight. In terms of suspense, plot, acting abilities and box office money made, TDK is the CLEAR winner. Besides, Christopher Nolan based the Narrows section of Gotham on the futuristic LA of Blade Runner, not some camp neon covered Gotham in Forever.

Ironic, considering that Falling Down and Insomnia were down by Schumacher and Nolan. BOTH are better than Forever, FACT!

And the acting in Forever is so camp, at least Begins and TDK have decent acting.
