Episode four of The Spoils Of Babylon. Has an homage to Good Fellas, as Kristen Wigg has everyone who knows about the steam powered carburetor killed to protect her oil business. Then out of Jealousy, tries to freeze Tobey McGuire out of the family business as he conducts experiments in his undersea lab with Jessica Alba and other hot women scientists. So, he writes anti-capitalist fiction to attack her and her/his son played by that creepy kid from The Sixth Sense, all grown up now.

Bitten

Episode 1

Based off the book series by Kelley Armstrong (yes, I have them), Bitten follows Elena's attempts to lead a normal human existence in Toronto. However, the murder of a woman just outside of Stonehaven Manor leads to Elena's former pack trying to call her back to investigate. Elena is torn between her human love interest Phillip and trying to appear 'normal' to her would-be family, and the loyalties of being a werewolf. Not helpful are unresolved feelings towards werewolf Clayton (who clearly wants Elena back for himself).

The CGI for the wolves was okay-ish but as a pilot... it was slow...

Maybe I'm just not familiar with the way Entertainment One do things, or I'm not used to Canadian television. Hopefully episode 2 picks things up now that the character and set piece introductions are out of the way.
