She announced the Leonard's father and her are getting a divorce. She asked Sheldon when that started.
The reason? He was having an affair with a waitress.
"Can you imagine? Oh, I meant no offense, Penny."
Penny, "Oh no. I sounded like a compliment." (sarcasm)
Then Leonard learned his dog die.
