TDK is completely different to Tim Burton's 1989 great, it just feels dated and empty now behind Jack's swagger and sneer. Imagine your a teenager way back in the summer of 89, afterwards you emerge from the cinema saying "that was awesome!" Fast forward to 2010 and now it's more "Wow, this has dated incredibly." Still, it is a great movie.

And it was the Bat-Pod, not the Batbike.

I think it was just the style batman 89 was filmed in that made it look so old.

yes TDK copied a few ideas from Batman for example when the bat plane spees towards the joker after the giant float parade, TDK copied that scene when Batman speeded towards the joker in TDK when heath taunted batman saying "hit hit me".

Also the scene in batman where the joker invades a meeting between some criminals TDK also copied the scene in a similar style.

Your wrong Batshit you don't know s**t :D

Batwing, not Batplane, Jamesy. And besides, that scene was ridiculous when The Joker pulled out a ludicrously long gun and downed the Batwing with one stupid shot. At least Batman had a plan when he swerved to avoid Heath's Joker, who at least fired off some shots from a gun that didn't need enlarging. Batman has a "no kill" policy, remember?

As for the meeting, Heath's Joker didn't exactly invade the meeting, he ordered most of the goons he hired to talk.

Quit arguing with Batshit, it won't work. You two will just rise to the bait everytime, it's getting to the point where im on the verge of giving up altogether.

Seiously though why do we need a boring old fart like Nolan directing the new bat films? Why not Quentin Tarrentino?

Firstly, Christopher Nolan isn't a "boring old fart", he's done some good movies like Memento and Insomina, both of which were brilliant. And secondly, as much as i love Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs (Both are in my top 10), Tarantino would make it basically a swear-fest of epic proportions, something you DON'T WANT because you demand some light-hearted comedy. You = hypocrite.

My choice goes to Guillermo Del Toro, especially to do an Arkham Asylum film :D. Imagine the way he'd bring the likes of Killer Croc and Poison Ivy to life.

Thirdly... Your Cupid while i and presumably Batshit are doing the honours  http://www.collectedcurios.com/sequentialart.php?s=96

Jamesy, the only dick on this forum is you. I try to have a civil debate, but then you resort to your typical repetitve attitude. I doubt Christopher Nolan even remotely cares about your opinion of him. He probably never talks to you much, does he? That's probably why your so fixated on him.

Well Nolan did one thing right and that was hire Liam Neeson for Begins. Liam was better than Heath Ledger. Liam Neeson rules.

You can't compare Liam Neeson to Heath Ledger, they are two completely different actors. For f**k sake, why must you insist on moaning like an old woman?

Liam Neeson IS a good actor, watch Taken for example. He ploughs through the bad guys without breaking a sweat, plus he has the look for Ra's Al Ghul nailed down. And if you think Batman Begins is mediocre, well that's your opnion, which is becoming incredibly boring.
