Me too. In one sense, they already are even though one of them doesn't know it yet.

I love the love triangle aspect.

La la la love triangle! (something from D-Frag that has had its moments)

I hold a special place with the older sister in a triangle with Haruka and Yuu.

Kaede and Yuzu are just the slow couple, I thought they were actually going to figure out that their friends are in a relationship, but not yet. Kaede's reason for being class rep shows that it is only time till number 3.

I expect Yuzu to remain clueless for a long time. The clueless character is a classic element in anime, after all.

Me and a friend just got done watching Kaiji: Hakairoku Hen after marathoning the final four episodes of the series in one go. I think Kaiji and his sequel, Hakairoku Hen is definitely one of the most tense, thrilling (and most importantly, original) anime I've seen for quite some time. The art-style and gritty setting took some getting used to, but I'm glad I stuck with it all the way - the series ended rather satisfactorily and I grew to really like the titular character, flawed individual he is. We're pretty psyched to watch the live-action movie adaptations.

I wish more modern-day anime branched out and gambled on seinen manga like Kaiji; I didn't think an anime about gambling could be any good but I was proved wrong. And very glad about it I am too.

I remember running home from school to catch Battle of the Planets, aka G-Force, aka Gatchaman. I kind of go back and forth about wanting to watch it again, since I have really nice memories of those afternoons and I don't know if the series will live up to the feelings that I had back then.

Now there's a new series, Gatchaman Crowds, which I decided to check out. I really like it so far. It's streaming for free on Anime Network Online. The main character, Hajime, surprises and delights me regularly, and the others characters appeal to me as well.

GATCHAMAAAAN!
I heard that it was kind of an odd take as Hajime decides to solve things in ways other than just destroying all bad aliens like is the Gatchaman mission.

Hajime has a lot more going on upstairs than it appears at first, and I feel sure that I would have a happier life if I could learn to adopt her attitude toward difficult people. The show has at least as much interesting philosophy as it does action.

I finished Little Busters Refrain, and I'd recommend it to almost anyone. The series doesn't hold back with the surprises any more than it holds back with the heart-rending feels.

Refrain was stronger than the first season, although I was a little annoyed that some of the characters got very little attention, and a couple got some that felt like it would have done better earlier. I did have some feels towards the end.

I personally think that J.C. Staff did not manage to reach the same level of what KyoAni or P.A. Works have done with Key stories, perhaps in part due to animation that the other two put a huge focus on. J.C. Staff does have its place in good shows of the romantic drama area, and their two current titles are two of my favourite current airing shows (Golden TIme and Witch Craft Works). And the Little Busters EX specials have been a little strange.

I felt glad that Chu2Koi came out the same night as Golden Time this week. The surprise in each episode balanced the other out for me.

Update: I just watched the first episode of Recently, My Sister is Unusual and mind. blown.

Further Update watching Sakura Trick: Each one is special.

Yeah that first episode went beyond what we think of Fan Service.

I decided to buy the Blu-Rays within the first few scenes.

Earlier on, I walked upstairs to the living room to find my friend and his parents watching the first episode of the North American dub of Pokemon, of all things. I got a bit of a nostalgic kick out of it, as I hadn't watched it in over 10 years, yet it was sooooooo cheesy. xD I can totally see why my six-year-old self loved it.

To be honest, I might just have to start watching it again, because if guys my age can watch My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and be cool about it, then dammit, we can watch Pokemon as well! :D

I'll see your Pokemon, and raise you Gatchaman on the nostalgia tip.

I like that feeling of an old anime. Mushishi will have a new season, next season.

After Genshiken Nidaime (second season) ended their season, I re-watched Genshiken and Genshiken 2 again. There's a current anime that reminded me of Kujibiki Unbalance, too!

ETA: I caught up on Recently, My Sister is Unusual, and I don't see why the show has gotten so much hate. It has a creative plot which pays homage to the classic anime tropes in a tongue-in-cheek manner. The plot twist allows the author to do the tsundere routine in a far more extreme manner than any other show I've seen. I like the art, and I think the backgrounds look terrific. There's plenty of non-H stuff out there for people who don't like that, and they kind of let us know how it was going to go at the very beginning of the first episode. Maybe people prefer male protagonists who are less likable..
