Opening episode of American Horror Story, season six. Pretty creepy so far.
Was gonna comment this... honestly, I didn't like it. I'm gonna stick with the season for a bit longer to make up my mind because I loved seasons 1, 4, and 5 (Murder House, Freak Show, Hotel), and I also love the southern gothic genre, which seems to be the theme. But the reenactment show style is really off-putting to me, it keeps me from really getting into it. One of the reasons the other seasons worked so well is that they felt so intimate, so viewers could get attached to the characters. The reenactment style puts a barrier between the viewers and the characters, like it's an extra barrier that makes the characters way less real. I'm just hoping things get better, or I get used to the new style.
