Are the Transformers movies really that bad?

They do not represent the Transformers universe as a whole.

Even if you don't think of them as transformers movies, which I don't, any film that has:

Potty humor, humping dogs, rape jokes, pot brownies, giant testicles, annoying "comedy" reliefs, every character screaming every sentence, females who are nothing but (IMO ugly) eye candy and stereotypes is a bad movie.

I'm just glad the Sam Witwicky character wasn't present for Age Of Extinction, which in turn, made the movie less of an effort to sit through.
