Stargate!
Fan-freakin-tastic! Best Sci-Fi to grace that box that controls so much of my time since Babylon 5. Can't get enough of it and watch it like it was telling me the secrets of all creation. The newest season has gotten a little odd, though.

I'm a huge stargate fan. I love both series, btu prefer Atlantis. I can't wait for Stargate Universe to start airing!

Same here. So far, the two series have given me almost as much pleasure as all the Star Trek shows together. I particularly like the nerdy references to other sci-fi franchises that keep popping up in the dialogue.

Last year was my Stargate year. I watched all 10 seasons of SG-1, the first 4 of Atlantis and the 2 SG-1 movies on DVD. Can't wait to pick up season 5 of Atlantis next month.

I love Stargate, unfortunately they stiffed us over here by cutting Atlantis in the second season :(

Are you talking about the original film or the TV version? although the TV version carries on from the film left off its not really cannon, the original was meant to be part of a trilogy that wouldn't of resembled the TV version and both have alot of differences in back story and lore. Regardless, i think both versions are equally awesome!! I'm a big fan of both, watched all of the sg1 and sga episodes and the films. Looking forward to the sga film "Stargate: Extinction" and the next TV spin-off series "Stargate Universe" coming out later this year. :D :D :D

It was funny because when I first started watching SG-1, it took a while for me to get used to Richard Dean Anderson playing O'Neill. I was so used to it being Kurt Russel. However, about the time I finished season 2, the original Stargate movie was on TV and it had been a few years since I'd seen it and while watching it, seeing Kurt Russel as O'Neil just seemed wrong.
