No, but later in the month, there will be an anime convention in Portland.
I will look for the information at my school.
There is an Anime Club at my school.

I don't even like anime. :roll:

I enjoy going to pop culture cons. You feel like you fit in at them no one gives you crap as you are all in the same boat: fandom.

is set for Labor Day Weekend
at the Portland Hilton Hotel.

that is what so cool about pop culture cons.

apparently manifest is doing something special this year for the 10th Anniversary. There is an event called mani-madness that goes from the saturday through to the sunday of manifest. meaning that if you do not want to go home you don't have too, there will be stuff on the whole night.
this is a first for australia as no con has ever been open non stop for 24 hrs.
but you have to be over 18 (i am 24) to stay the whole night.
