Bob Monkhouse on the BBC 'Parkinson' show in 2002, just a year or so from his death. Astonishingly Parky lived on for more than 20 years. Other guests are the Scottish singer Lulu and Peter Kay, a comedian from Bolton. Monkhouse is probably largely forgotten today, but is an interesting figure in the history of British TV comedy, and well worth researching for anyone who is interested in such matters.
