2010 remake of the 1969 film directed by the Coen brothers.

I love this film. Coen brothers ftw!

I may not like Westerns, but this remake was very well-done!

Is anyone looking forward to seeing the Coen Bros.' next movie, Inside Llewyn Davis? It recently won the Grand Prix {which is 2nd Place} at the Cannes Film Festival and is set for release this December.

Sybil (1976)

Sally Field was exceptionally good in this movie. The whole thing itself is just... really creepy. 8O

The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938)

Errol Flynn is such an unlikable prick in this movie that it's hard to stay involved. It would have been much better had he played the villain and Basil Rathbone played Robin Hood, rather than the other way around. The fights are silly and childish but people are getting graphically impaled on arrows left and right, creating a clash of tones. At least it looks nice.

Recently saw: 'The Long Goodbye' dir. Robert Altman. (I loved this movie!)
'Savages' dir. Oliver Stone (this was very hit and miss)
'Booty Call' dir. Jeff Pollack (I liked this movie more than I disliked it)

The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance.

Iconic film of the mythic west, starring John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart, and Lee Marvin. A must see for any fan of any three of these actors, or of the western genre.

I saw that somewhat recently too; I loved that you could so clearly see just how coked out everyone involved in the production of the movie was, it looked like there were having a great time filming it.

Stories We Tell

The new film by Sarah Polley, in which she comes to terms with parts of her own life through her family.

Very intimate movie. Highly reconmmended.

Dark Skies.

Considering who the film's makers were, I was disappointed with this mediocre scifi/horror flick.
