I can't see Jake Gyllenhaal as Riddler, he's a good actor, but many people might not take him seriously as Riddler.

I think Hugh would be perfect and he could probably play the riddler better than anyone else.

Well except robin williams.

By the way according to robin williams batman forever screwed him so he did not reject the role.

Actually, Robin Williams wanted to play the Joker in Batman 89, but Warner Bros ignored him completely. Given that he's worked with Nolan already on Insomina, he has a knack for playing obsessed and creepy weirdos.

I 100% agree with you.

Hugh Laurie could knock this one out of the park.

I would also love Robin Williams to play the riddler not so keen on eddie murphy or depp. No doubt Depp would be dull as hell.

Omigod...you and I actually sorta agree on something? Hell has officially frozen over.

I don't want Depp doing the Riddler; Depp is a "fail-safe" actor. But I don't want someone who can do just any role...I want someone who can do it perfect, sorta like Heath Ledger as the Joker.

I think the Riddler should be played by Matt Frewer; I think he would absolutely nail the role.

Yep, ive made a deal with the devil, in this case, Jamesy. The whole Depp rumours are completely false, even the latest rumours with Eminem are total crap! (BOYCOTT!)

Im still going to say Hugh Laurie, Robin Williams or Joseph Gordon Levitt to nab the role.

I don't want Robin Williams either, though.

Fair enough, all depends on how Nolan decides to cast.

As well as getting a good actor to play the Riddler would it hurt if Batman 3 lightend up a little bit and we had a more interesting looking gotham city where most of the aciton takes place at night? We also need somebody else to shoot fight scenes in batman 3 because Nolans sucks at shooting action.

I am just saying TDK and Begins were to gritty and dark. Batman 3 does not have to be as dark and as gloomy right?

Okay if it does not lighten up can we at least have a more interesting looking gotham city like in a futuristic kind of style?

Well come on comapred to past bat films the fight scenes were not up to standard.

Jamesy, we've discussed this over and over again. Let's not compare fight scenes, it's like comparing apples and pears. I have already said that Christian Bale hits harder than Val "five bellies" Kilmer, just stop repeating yourself. Im in a civil and good mood tonight, don't spoil it.

Kilmer was not fat in Batman Forever though. All that I am saying it would be nice to see a more varied number of fight movies like gymnastic type combos instead of making it look more realistic.

Listen on a different note what about having a gotham that looks more interesting in Batman 3?
