I was just recently thinking about this show and how much I miss watching it. I'll bet the jokes are funnier since I'm older.

You'll never know unless you watch, Youtube has some parts of episodes. I'm pretty sure there are other websites that have episodes of Animaniacs.

LOVED that show! I own a t-shirt with most of the cast on it and a pendant with Wakko's likeness on it, plus a link on the necklace that says "Hellooo nurse."

The only "Hip Hippos" segment I really liked was "La Behemoth."

Some other favorites:

-the "pilot" for Rita and Runt (can't remember the title)
-"Star Truck"
-"Hey Macademia"
-"The Monkey Song"
-"Yakko's Universe"
-"Hamlet"
-"Little Old Slappy from Pasadena"

One time I was looking on you tube for the star trek episode because I was into that now and I remembered about that episode and to my suprise I came around a Star Wars special that I did not know existed. It was funny as hell.

That's really interesting, I didn't know there was a Star Wars special. :chin:

I have only seen it once on youtube a few years ago and I believe it was an episode of Pinky and the Brain with them playing R2-D2 and C3PO, Wakko as Luke Skywalker, Yakko as Han Solo, Dot as Princess Leia, Mr Plotz as Darth Vader, Dr Scratchnsniff as Tarkin, Chicken Boo as Chewbacca, Slappy Squirrel as Obi Wan Kenobi, Skippy Squirrel as Yoda and Ralph and Hello Nurse as Storm Troopers. They didn't go by their charaters names like Family Guy did but basically the entire episode was all 3 of the original movies in 1.

Just played back "Schnitzelbank" and realized I knew the melody from somewhere else: when I was a kid, I had a recorded (on an LP) version of "The Three Little Pigs" and there was a sequence where the Big Bad Wolf is teaching his children how to cook the pigs, in song. Part of it sounds like the melody to "Schnitzelbank," German accent and all.

Weird....Wonder if the ANIMANIACS writers had the same record?
