fully agree with you on Star Wars. I think the franchise is completely over-rated, and the fans actually ruin it even more for me.
Also the Godfather. Yes, it was good, but I didn't think it was the greatest thing I've ever seen in any way.
The Lost Boys: there were two good actors in the whole film, Kiefer Sutherland and Barnard Hughes; that was it.
Scott Pilgrim Vs the World: it's a case where I can see the prototype of what Hollywood is trying to work out to appeal to my growing-up generation, but they have more work to do. Look, the majority of the Godfather cast was very amateurish, but at least they had a legendary actor holding the thing down. Scott Pilgrim had Michael Cera; the kid is way too inexperienced yet, and it really showed...and
hard.
