Anyone pessimistic of KOTH reboot?

In my case, change often makes me feel uncomfortable. I'd grown to like the characters the way they were. Not everybody's wish of course.

Fair point. If Bobby was voiced by a different person it would feel off to me too. That's why I am uncertain about Dale getting a new casting after his OG actor passed away. But I imagine the new actor will do a fine job. For sure I would have to get used to it.

Sad to say there's no bringing Dale Gribble and John Redcorn back, except by AI, and I'm not sure I'd be happy with that somehow.

A proper trailer has finally been released. NGL I did chuckle at this one. My only concern is Bill's shut-in lifestyle. I just hope the writers give him some character development where he mentally heals and gets back with Laoma.

Where are your thoughts on it now that the show is out?

I agree, it is interesting to see them aging. My viewership drifted of around season seven or eight. The scene I saw on Jimmy Kimmel made me interested again. I want to see how they've changed with age.

Also, Jonathan Joss did not die that long ago. He is in some of the episodes in season 14.
Johnny Hardwick is in the first eight episodes. Perhaps they used older recordings?

One word about the reboot...awesome.

The teasers and clips I've watched were sooooo cringe that I can't make myself watch a whole episode. Feels like they've lost the tenderness and originality that made the societal commentary (and the humor, really) work so well.
