I cannot Believe that no one has mentioned this yet: Captain Ahab.
He is is monomanically searching for the whale, the first question he asks of another ship is "have you seen the white whale?" is tacit, every night goes through his charts.

Captain Ahab was obsessively hunting Moby-Dick because it had torn his leg off, not because of Asperger's.

Seriously, the only TV characters I can buy as having Asperger's is Buster from Arrested Development and Kevin from Mission Hill, and even then it's not really clear whether Buster has AS or if he was just overly babied by his mother. Just because someone is obsessive, smart, or kinda quirky doesn't mean they have it.

ninja edit: Also, the main character from Pi totally had it.

I think Yuki Nagato of the Haruhi Suzumiya series exhibits AS tendencies, it can usually be explained though by something else, but in the movie (The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya) she has quite a lot at her general character, some of it really made me empathise with her though it is driving me a bit nutty.

Anri Sonohara from Durarara also has some AS traits, she is quite, has trouble voiceing what she is thinking, and is quite obviously th target of many bullies.

L from Death Note.
Lilo from Lilo & Stitch.
6 from the movie 9 seems to have Asperger's, if not than some form of autism.
Death the Kid from Soul Eater definitely has OCD, but I think he might be an Aspie too.
I don't know if plays count in this thread, but I'd like to mention Laura Wingfield from The Glass Menagerie.

Seeing as he was hunting it, I say he got off easy

Havent read the entire thread, so I don't know if he has been brought up.

Darth Vader/Anikin Skywalker: Seems strange in a lot of social situations, analyzes what ever situation he is in moreso than those around him, and he is obsessed with mechanics of ships, and flying them.

There could possibly be some arguements against this though.

On that note, I know it's not a movie, but the original Sherlock Holmes, too.
Pretty interesting article about Holmes and Asperger's (click here)
