Morecambe Bay Holiday Camp, which our family spent some time at in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Sadly it went out of business some time after that.

Edit: 'Playback on other websites disabled by the video owner'. WTF? Thanks for that, but you can still watch it directly on YouTube.

Another MBHC video.

In 1972 we stayed in that rather utilitarian accommodation block which is visible in the background at 0:31 on the video.

I remember Dean Sullivan's Jimmy Corkhill character being the star performer in the final scenes of the last ever 'Brookside' episode in 2003.

I'd guess if you're not British and if a certain age you'd never have heard of Fred Dibnah but he was a regular TV curiosity in my 1980s youth, always doing something preposterously dangerous with a level of competence that made it seem no more risky than an afternoon stroll. What he's doing here makes me feel physically sick.

My fav scene from Sailor Moon Crystal season 3 when the Outer Senshi use their three tailsmans (the sword, mirror, and jewel) to summon Sailor Saturn, the most powerful and dangerous Sailor Soldier.

"I am an emissary from the abyss of death. Protected by Saturn, the Planet of Destruction...I am the soldier of silence. Sailor Saturn." :skull:

Btw interesting fact: The sword used by Sailor Uranus, the mirror used by Sailor Neptune, and the gemstone used by Sailor Pluto are all based on the three sacred treasures of Japan's Imperial Family said to have been gifted to the first emperor by the Goddess Amaterasu. :D

Hmm, for about the cost of a replacement car, I could swap a J engine into my car.
300 HP sure would be an improvement over 140.

I'm not sure if the quoted weight I've seen for an R includes engine, transmission, intake and exhaust manifolds, axles, and major accessories, but the number I've seen for a J does. The J will definitely add weight, so I'll need stiffer front springs and front sway bar.
