The latest series of Black Mirror.

The first 3 episodes (Especially Loch Henry) are the strongest, and a lot better than the previous series.

The last 2 were duds for me. Intrigued to see further development of Red Mirror however.

Episode 4 of Twin Peaks in my second attempt at a Grand Re-Watch of the series.

It was great as always.

Early Doors (2003)

A sitcom of sorts (no studio audience) set in a pub somewhere in Greater Manchester. A prominent member of the cast (Craig Cash) was also in 'The Royle Family', with which this show has a good deal in common, and Cash is one of the scriptwriters and producers also.

Not sure how well the humour and the setting would be understood outside the UK, and maybe it'd be barely comprehensible to a high proportion of the UK population today, two decades on.

Did it contain any of his most horrible moments from seasons 5, 6, and 7?

Just watched the last episode of Silo. Can't wait for Season 2.

I was watching AJ and the Queen on netflips. Only because my daughter was watching it but I really got into it.

Also watched The Thing About Pam on channel 5. This was such a good show and based on a true story as well.

I also noticed there's a new Black Mirror on netflips so I'll be watching that at some point. I love Black Mirror me.

Night Stalker:

Remake of the old Kolchak: The Night Stalker. Better production values, but without the humor that made the original series so memorable.

Watched Poirot: The Tragedy at Marsdon Manor on Britbox.
Season 3, episode 6.

IMDB Storyline: garykmcd wrote:
Having been lured to the village of Marsdon Leigh under false pretenses - the local hotel owner is unable to solve the crime in his own manuscript and so invites the detective to solve a "murder" - Poirot and Hastings are asked to look into the death of Mr. Maltravers, owner of the local manor house. The local rumor mill has it that the Marsdon Manor is haunted by several ghosts and Maltravers' wife is convinced that her husband was frightened to death. In the end, Poirot initiates a clever ruse to obtain a confession from the murderer.

Brass Eye

A spoof current affairs series from the late 1990s. Its title is an amalgamation of 'TV Eye' and 'Brass Tacks', but it also contains elements from 'World In Action' and Channel 4's 'The Eleven O'Clock Show' featuring Ali G. Quite amusing in parts, but I wasn't too keen on the crude language and grossness on display here.
