I finished watching Clamp School Detectives. Another one of the anime that made me feel really nostalgic.

I haven't had any anime in weeks, due to moving and connectivity issues. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Harsh. And if you are trying to keep on track with multiple shows it can build up quite the backlog that can take a while to catch up on.

Well most shows of the season have ended, and there have been some quite strong series. I just finished the second season of Sidonia earlier, and I have to say that they made this season stronger than the first, they have something with their format.

My favourite show of the season has been Etotama, and what I found the best was Danmachi. Plastic Memories dipped a bit after the beginning episodes, but ended how you would expect. SNAFU season 2 managed to also work on its beginning work and bring more to the table, but still stay enough the same to not feel like a different show. High School DXD S3 proves to be an ecchi series that earns praise despite its inherent expectations. Kiniro Mosaic Season 2, still has the charm. Show By Rock still managed to be interesting. Mikagura Gakuin managed to do a lot with energy. Punchline turned out more than you would think. Grisaia sequel season(s) an interesting tale of changing out of the high school setting and exploring its main male character (gruesome). Wish upon the Pleiades was kind of tonally classic magical girl with some kind of complex and pretty parts. Re-kan did an interesting mix of slice of life and "horror". Nisekoi S2 kind of went nowhere. And there has also been Seraph of the End, Nanoha Vivid, Gunslinger Stratos, and Triage X (total rubbish).

Still left to finish by my count is Yuki-chan, Blood Blockade Battlefront, Aslan Senki, Hibeki Euphonium, and Ore Monogatari. And then we have new shows starting!

I got back to having connectivity, and got to finish My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU TOO!. Only one ending made sense to me, so I didn't expect it to happen. I think I'll have to watch again to figure out exactly what actually did happen. This show demands a lot from the viewer, I think. That, I like.

Speaking of confusion, I don't know why I enjoy The Familiar of Zero. Maybe I need some extra annoyance and dashed expectations in my life? It does have its moments, though.

Not sure if you are familiar with it, but if you have enjoyed Familiar of Zero in spite of some negative parts, you might enjoy Bladedance of the Elementalers. I describe it as having many of the same aspects, but removing some of the annoying aspects by having things like the Louise character not being so unfair and that she can actually admit when she is wrong and learn.

Wow! That's a lot of shows you keep up with! I've heard of only one of those (Nagato Yuki-chan).

Anime I currently follow are Chibi Maruko-chan, Suzumiya Haruhi, and Nagato Yuki-chan. Some I've followed in the past include Inuyasha (probably the first one I followed, starting in like 2004 or so), Ranma 1/2, Read or Die, Scryyed (or however you're supposed to spell it), Detective Conan, and I can't think of any more.

I like to follow quite a lot.

It seems Yuki-chan will be a 2 cour, which is good. Some new shows look promising, of course there are some sequel seasons which particularly good to look forward to more like Working (Wagnaria) season 3, Non Non Biyori season 2, and Symphogear season. And I was quite interested by the first episode of Snow-white with the Red Hair, another good shoujo.

But there is one particular anime I am waiting to start.

What does 2 cour mean?

The anime year schedule is brocken up into four "cours", usually around 12 to 13 episodes each, and usually referred to as the season they are set (summer, spring, winter, and fall). A 2 cour anime is one that goes for two of them and will probably be around 24 to 26 episodes. Yuki-chan will not only be in the spring cour, but the summer one also. But is also common to refer to them to as seasons, but it gets confusing with that anime can have different season.

A few others seem to be continuing on also with Aslan Senki, and Ore Monogatari. And I don't know what is happening with Blood Blockad Battlefront which seems to have stopped right at the climax.

Also very odd, apparently Durara's split cour second season (when an anime might go for 12 episodes, then skip take a break for that time before resuming for the other 12 later) seems to be counting itself as again another season, with an added word put on, and saying that it is a first episode, really strange.

No, it is my actual name. It has an uncommon spelling, and this was the first site I actually got an account on, so I did not really have an internet handle.

fuhrer Bradley's name does often take me by surprise when it comes up. Elsewhere on the webs I go by "DuskyPredator", inspired by the movie monster, but kind of make me sound a little sketchy too, especially for this site which is meant to be child friendly.

Anyone seen Naruto? I haven't seen it in a while, and now I'm watching the series in the internet. I thought it's a pretty cool anime.

Anyone interested in newly released anime, I want to recommend the first episode of something just released called Gakkou Gurashi (School-Live!). For adults preferably, and please do not look up any information about it, you may look at he OP song just to see what it looks like.

Don't worry, it is nothing sexual, I just think that it is a very interesting episode, that it is much deeper than it looks at first sight. If you watch, try and see if you can figure out what is happening by looking for clues.
