Just started watching the second season of Shoresy, it's a canadian comedy tv show about hockey players and a spinoff from a show called Letterkenny, which was also great.

I've also been watching a british comedy show called Taskmaster, they get a bunch of comedians to compete for pointless prizes by performing all sorts of weird tasks and they've got to find loopholes and novel solutions to the task.

Highly recommend both of them.

Been watching The Long Shadow

It's a dramatisation of the events leading upto the capture of Peter Sutcliffe "The Yorkshire Ripper" in the 1970s.

It's quite good. Pretty horrific how the police in those days treated prostitution.

Penmarric (1979)

BBC drama series in 12 parts, based on Susan Howatch's novel of the same name. It seems to be about the infighting and machinations of various members of a Cornish family (the Penmarrs) in the aftermath of a contested inheritance (namely the Penmarric estate). I wonder if Mary Wesley's 'The Camomile Lawn' was inspired to some extent by this.

First episode is a bit flat, quite honestly, with some slightly wooden acting and dialogue. The only actors I recognized were Ralph Bates and Lesley Dunlop.
