Great ending to the LOTR film series with great performances all around! Certainly much better than the two previous movies.

Rewatched King Kong, christ is that movie long but well worth it, I love that we don't actually get to Kong until about one hour, which builds up on his appearance. The t-rex battle were still so darn fun too. Loved it when they started to explore the island as well.

One thing that kept bothering me is Naomi Watts making the same face through-out the movie, it's this clueless girl face with her mouth slightly ajar, 3 hours of seeing that same look gets tiring, it's like the Peter Jackson told her to just stand there and just look pretty with no further instructions, ugh...

Aside from that, I still love it.

Finally had a chance to see this yesterday. Awesome movie with Jake Gyllenhaal making this a one-person movie through his performance.
