-Return of Ras Al Ghul as main villan, who survived the train crash in Batman Begin and takes on the alter ego the Red Hood, it is revealed that members of the league of Shadows are still members of the Gotham police force Batman is arrested along with Lieutenant Gordan , and Ras al Ghul was behind the scenes in all of the nolan batman films.
-the Riddler/ Edward Nigma, who plays a Harold Saxon like role when he is elected as Mayor of Gotham City, while in truthfully he is a weapons dealer to the Gotham mob lead by Black Mask/ Roman Sionis and Sal Maroni and secretly works for the Red Hood/ Ras Al Ghul
-Return of Scarecrow/ Jonathan Crane when he is released from Arkham Edward Nigma when he is Mayor of Gotham
-cameo of Dr. Harleen Francis Quinzel, (not as the Jokers assistant) working in Arkham Asylum as a Psychiatrist when Edward Nigma orders the release of Jonathan Crane
Synopsis:
Six Months after the events of The Dark Knight when, Gotham Police are on a man hunt on Batman, and Gotham is still stricken by a depression due to the Jokers actions on Gotham city, a new Mayor has been elected called Edward Nigma, who Promises Gotham to hunt down Batman and to get Gotham out of the Depression, but these are all lies, in truth he is an arms dealer to the Mob lead by Black Mask and Sal Maroni and works for a bigger and greater threat .
First Act:
Zsasz is tied up by Batman and leaves him to the police to be taken back to Arkham
Second Act
Edward Nigma is elected as mayor of Gotham promising to hunt down Batman and to get Gotham out of the depression, introduction of Selina Kyle who tries to cheer up Bruce Wayne when he visits Rachel Dawes’s Grave. Selina Kyle accompanies Bruce to the new Wayne Mansion, when selina accidentally discovers a secret passage way to the Bat cave, she discovers that Bruce Wayne is Batman, after that she steals stuff from the cave, escapes and adopts her alter ego Cat woman to help Batman out
Third act
Introduction of Red hood, Red Hood meets Edward Nigma and plans with him to destroy Gotham City and to Hunt down Batman, Red Hood secretly vanishes, then Edward Nigma taking on his Alter Ego the Riddler, donning a one piece leotard with a large question mark and a green-clad masked , and visits Sal Maroni and his new deputy Black Mask/Roman Sionis to plan to lay a trap to Batman by raiding a bank at night and then the Riddler raids a bank along with Black Mask, Batman stopped them, but fails to capture the Riddler who leaves batman with a riddle and Black Mask but manages to escape the police, then Batman meets Catwoman (Batman did not knew at the time she was Selina Kyle), to warn him that Edward Nigma is evil and is planning a trap
Forth act
Next day Edward Nigma visits Bruce Waynes mansion and visits Bruce Wayne to discuss about Batman and other things, before Edward Nigma leaves, Edward discovers a clue that Bruce Wayne is Batman (a piece of batmans costume), later on that night Edward Nigma speaks to Red Hood who orders Nigma to release Jonathan Crane from Prison to help him capture Batman, Edward Nigma as mayor orders Jonathan Crane to be released from Arkham, during this scene Dr. Harleen Francis Quinzel makes a cameo as a doctor in Arkham Asylum,
Fith act- Bruce Wayne talks to Alfred Pennyworth about Ras Al Ghul
Sixth act- a secretary visits Edward Nigmas office and accidently discovers the riddlers costume, when Edward catches her she attempts to run away, but Scarecrow, gases her wih a concentrated dose of his hallucination toxin and the secretory dies, the Edward leaves a riddle in her pocket, and denies that he had anything to do with it.
Seventh act- Edward Nigma works with Jonathan Crane/Scarecrow to make a sleeping toxin to sedate Batman, then Edward Nigma taking the Alter Ego of the Riddler accompanies Scarecrow and Blackmask to a bank raid, to trap Batman again, this time the the Riddlers plan succeeds as Scarecrow gasses Batman with his hallucination toxin and leave him for the police to capture him, as the Gotham police along with Lieutenant Gordan arrests Batman , Lieutenant Gordan is arrested as well and are all taken to Edward Nigma in his office, as Lieutenant Gordan asks Nigma what he is doing, Red Hood appears and takes off his mask to reveal himself as Ras Al Ghul, revealing that he created the joker ,the police were infact members of the league of shadows, and his plan to destroy Gotham city by bringing a great fire then Ras Al Ghul orders Scarecrow to gas Bruce Wayne and Gordan with his fear Toxin, and locks the both away
Eight act- Ras Al Ghul and Edward Nigma order the Police to make sure no one escapes Gotham, then the star a fire to destroy Gotham, Catwoman comes to fight Black Mask, Scarecrow and Edward Nigma, tie them all up then frees Bruce Wayne and Gordan, Bruce donning his batman suit flies to fight Ras Al Ghul and defeats him, Ras Al Ghul, Edward Nigma, Black Mask and Srarecrow are all lockd up in Arkham Asylum
Final Act- Lieutenant Gordan presents Batman with a new Bat Signal similar to Batman Begins ending scene. Then on Gordon's radio, it reveals that the Joker has escaped and Dr. Harleen Francis Quinzel, was seen with the Joker helping him escape, Batman then promises Gordan to stop them and leaves the Bat Signal
