Kilmer was not fat in Batman Forever though. All that I am saying it would be nice to see a more varied number of fight movies like gymnastic type combos instead of making it look more realistic.

Listen on a different note what about having a gotham that looks more interesting in Batman 3?

I mean look at Kilmer now, he has put on so much weight. Gotham doesn't need to have neon-coloured lighting or ridiculous day-glo hair colours, Nolan's movies are in a completely different league to the original four, why change a setting that has already proven so successful?

Well what do you think Gotham city will look like in Batman 3? Hopefully not like it did in TDK. The gotham city in Batman Begins looked like a market town which is not really great is it.

I would like gotham city to look futureristic in batman3. Picture fith element or blade runner to get an idea.

Well speak for yourself because I don't find new setting successful or impressive. All for the sake of realism

Hay come on batman does not have to be completely realistic to be good. Why not have an interesting futurestic looking gotham city with a dark and serious storyline? Why not balance both instead of being rigid and having everything looking boring?

1.no, it doesn't but it looks worse when its neon. 2. batman is not futuristic, period. 3. because neon makes batman worse, that is one of the many reasons batman forever wasn't very good

You do realise that it WASN'T Gotham for the majority of Begins, it was the Narrows. Did you not notice the courtroom scene, or the other sections of Gotham during the Tumbler chase?

Well the cityscape in batman forever is one of the reasons why I liked batman forever. I just thought it gave the movie a lot of character.

In TDK gotham city looked like downtown chicago which is just makes it look not very interesting. Why not balance a good plot with interesting surroundings?

I mean be paitent until summer 2012 when Batman 3 is released. Nolan will have a hard act to follow in the wake of the Dark Knight's then record-breaking box office takings, i have faith that he can pull it off.

What do you think Batman 3 will be like then? It may not live up to the Dark Knight or even begins becasue Nolan might have to rush it if you know what i mean.

I doubt Nolan will rush it, look at the time and effort he put into Inception. Redemption has to be the sole theme this time around - Batman on the run from the mob, a city trying to remember their fallen white knight in Harvey Dent, and the re-emergence of the mob as Gotham descends into chaos - that's what i think.
