Maybe it's a music show hosted by a gay Dalek in a cowboy hat ...

(I guess only Aussies will get that one).

Dalek countdown was a sketch involving Daleks playing countdown. It was on a radio show and the letters chosen spelled out Exterminate. And the constestand couldn't guess it.

I've been enjoying the new bigfinish download feature. I've already bought 4 stories in the space of a week.

I'll be getting about 8 Big Finish stories, along with 5 Doctor Who storied on DVD for my birthday. Kudos to anyone who understands how I'd be getting these in a reasonable price.

It isn't showing for me either. I think with images like these it only shows for gbollard. Can anyone else see that image?

Dunno why it didn't show because it worked fine in preview mode.

Picasa did have some trouble yesterday though.
At any rate, if it doesn't show below, then it's the last picture in my funny pictures gallery

I need some Kudos... how did you get them at a reasonable price?

BTW: Why is it that Australia doesn't get the Dr Who Easter Egg...

Image

Actually I'd love to have gotten the one with Peter Davison's burning crotch on it - remember that one.

Uhhh, no. I know Peter Davison had his face covered in Swarfega and rice bubbles, what seemed like a heart attack, had his arms all but pulled out by androids, and died (so to speak) from a fatal poison. But I don't recall a 'burning crotch'. Care to enlighten me with what story and when?

I spent ages trying to find a picture but alas, couldn't find it. It would be in the transcendental toybox if you've got that book.

Anyway, back in the late 80's the BBC released a Tom Baker Tardis Easter egg. It just had a Tardis shaped/printed box and when you opened the front door, you could see Tom Baker waving. It was quite popular.

They followed it up the next year with a Peter Davison one but made some changes.
- Added an exterminating Dalek to the outside of the box
- Put Peter Davison in the LEFT doorway - I think Tom had been on the right.

Anyway, it was released and quickly became a collectors item. It's very funny too because....

If you open the left hand door (you can see Peter Davison) but leave the right hand door closed (you can see the dalek's death ray), you get the impression that Peter Davison is standing there with a rather large and glowing upright man-part.

In a few weeks time, the new series of Doctor Who will be on British Television. When it does, I'll bring more quotes on to here.
