Nightcrawler - Jake Gyllenhaal surprised me in this one, I had no idea what the movie was about and was pleasantly surprised - would definitely recommend.

"Miss Congeniality", "Coyote Ugly", and "Dirty Dancing"----ALL are still very enjoyable!

Dagon (2001), horror film supposedly based on an HP Lovecraft story. Reminded me of some of Amando De Ossorio's films, but nastier.

It Follows.

A young woman has sex for the first time - - only to learn from the guy that he's passing along a curse of a succubus/Incubus, that will pursue her with the intent of killing her. And the creature can appear as anyone.
Pretty decent horror flick.

Inside Out

Saw this only a few days ago and even though this was very dark for a Pixar movie, I liked it anyway. Some parts were sad and some were so funny {especially the "imaginary boyfriend" scenes}, I thought I would start coughing just from laughing so hard.

These Final Hours

An Australian film about a meteor hit, and the resulting end of the world. A self-indulgent decadent man who saves a little girl, and then helps her to find her dad, and in the process helps him find redemption. Not a warm and fuzzy film. No happy endings. Just "Endings" in the same vein as Melancholia, and Seeking Friend for the End of the World. It is different then both though.

The ratings for this film are just above average. I have not read any commentary. I enjoyed it, though it was very hard to watch at times. People are portrayed doing horrible things in their final hours.
