I'd pay to see that. And that's saying a lot. I hate paying.

Aye lass, that I am. But when I go through my naturalisation ceremony I'll be a redneck legally. It's a scary thought.

Just finished Ragnarok S3. It got a bit confusing in the end. I was a bit tired though.

I've run out of videos so I've gone back to watching Hale And Pace. Some of it's quite funny and clever. I'm planning to see The Enigma Of Kaspar Hauser as soon as I can synch up the subtitles. I saw it on telly when I was a lad and it would be nice to see it again but I don't speak German and the subtitle file is all over the place so far.

Top Gear

Season 20 (2013)

Episodes 1 through 7

Mark Webber, who was a Formula One drive for Red Bull drove their "sensibly priced car" around the track. He did not beat Lewis Hamilton (.3 seconds slower), but he was delighted to beat Sebastian Vettel, who had been his team mate. I like Vettel, but at the time I found him not the best teammate when he was younger, because while Webber was battling for the championship, the team told Vettel not to pass Webber. So of course Vettel passed Webber, and no one particularly liked that. Again, I like Vettel days.

Episode 7 ended with a salute to British car manufactures. Car makers from all over Britain lined up. Buses, tractors, sports cars, every day ("sensibly priced cars"), race cars, anything on four wheels, and notably (for me) Formula One cars. LOTS of F1 cars are based in Britain. It is mesmerizing (for me) to see Formula One cars driving on city streets.

Hale And Pace. By some weird coincidence they did a parody of Top Gear and ? Jeremy Clarkson who kept making inappropriate sexual comments about a flash car he was presenting. Don't know how accurate the parody was to the real person, but I hear a lot of people hate him, don't quite know what for. I've never knowingly seen him.

Hale and Pace IMO is mostly just about watchable with the occasional flash of genius.

Eastenders

OMC Masood has stolen Tamwa's uni fund and gambled it away and now Tamwa's kicked Masood out and now Masood has just thrown a drink over Tamwa

I can barely look

This is high octane stuff

On Hale & Pace they had a trick with a glass of liquid that stays in the glass when you try to chuck the drink at somebody. I want one of those. Anyway this idiot doesn't quite understand, and he picks up a real drink and chucks it at this woman, which made me laugh.

They also did a sketch about Yorkshire Airlines that only fly from Leeds to Leeds because there's nowhere outside Yorkshire that's worth going to. Instead of saying "Good morning, welcome to the flight" to the passengers as they board, they say "Eyup."

And they do one show for export to the USA where they do all these things that Americans like and the British hate, like USA-style Christianity and the overdoing of affection in public. It's unashamed stereotyping.

Top Gear

Season 22 (2014-2015)
Episodes 1 through 8.

Episode 22 is the last season of the three original host. Between the making of episode 7 and 8, Jeremy Clarkson was fired. James May, who co-created parts of the series, voluntarily left the series.
Episode 8 consisted of James and Richard introducing unaired stuff recorded the previous season (I think (???) that's right).

Honestly, I'm not 100% sure. It may have had something to do with him punching (I think) the producer. I'm researching it now. I am curious too. ... Found it.
Jeremy Clarkson - Wikipedia wrote:
In 2015, the BBC elected not to renew Clarkson's contract after he assaulted a Top Gear producer while filming on location. That year, Clarkson and his Top Gear co-presenters and producer Andy Wilman formed the production company W. Chump & Sons to produce The Grand Tour for Amazon Prime Video.
I got my initial information from YouTube video short.
I may have mentioned it, but I am a fan of James May. I genuinely find the three of them funny, but I'm always liked James. These days I'm a fan of James and his media person, Lucy Brown. He also introduces her at the vice president of his Gin business. I sometimes question if they are both on the spectrum, but in the end it doesn't matter. They both seem like delightful people. Sorry for the tangent.

Warren (2019)
streaming on Prime Video (also on Tubi TV)

Season 1
episode 1, 2, 3
Martin Clunes play Warren Thompson, a driving instructor.
It's nice seeing him in something other than Doc Martin. He is very funny. The show is funny.
