Nobody needs a TV license. I'm amazed so many people think they need one. Mind you, when you stop buying one the BBC refuses to believe you're not a dodger, and they send you scaremongering letters forever after giving you advice about preparing for your day in court. There should be a law against that kind of thing.

Yes, YouTube's quite helpful, but for best results you need Invidious to mirror its content for you, and a downloading utility to make it so you don't need your internet connection when you watch the thing, and to protect you from YT deleting the content. There are also other places that host TV shows and films so you can watch them ad-free for nowt.

Are they doing a re-run of Doc Martin?

Doc Martin is one of those shows I can watch over and over. You're right though. Lots of exotic illnesses.

ToughDiamond, do you have access to Tubi TV or Pluto TV? They both have Doc Martin. They are both free. They both requests registration. Tubi TV has series 3 through 6. Pluto TV has series 1 through 6. They both have commercials, since they are free.
Pluto registration asks for a e-mail address and a password.
Tubi registration asks for an e-mail address, password, and gender (Male, Female, Other).

If you do not like giving out your e-mail address, I created one on Yahoo years ago for these types of things.

Thanks for the tip, but I've got all the episodes on a USB hard drive somewhere. Still, I'll bear it in mind in case any of them turn out to be missing or the hard drive packs up before I've created duplicates on another drive.

Finished Boiling Point. It was good but Stephen Graham wasn't in it much. I think they only put him in it because people like him, and they've written the plot so that it begs for a sequel where he returns to the restaurant strong and sober, instead of sitting about on his tod feeling sorry for himself and mixing his drinking with his heart tablets.

Otherwise it was a bit like Fawlty Towers only an awful lot more dark and tense, and not funny at all.

I only watch it for the violence
I have very little interest in the plot
But I know enough about it to get by

Jibaro, episode 4 from Love Death + Robots series 3 8O
Stunning and creepy in equal measure - and all animated!
(actually it was a re-watch, having just finished series 4)

Here, it's available on Vimeo -
