The Power of Parker

It's supposed to be based in my town but it's filmed all across Manchester

It's quite funny

Christ's sacrifice was unconditional and it is never too late to invite Him into your heart as your personal Savior!

Generał Italia - I really don't know how to describe it, it's just plain gold.
Kapitan Bomba - a'la how many slurs can be put in single sentence. It's funny, albeit without huge tolerance against sex humour it's unbearable to watch (given everything is named and has appearance of genitalia)
...So generally totally family-friendly polish cartoon stuff.

Last Week Tonight with John Oliver
streamed on HBO Max

Season 12
Episode 13 - Air Traffic Control
I have to wonder why anyone would fly these days? Probably because people are often in a hurry, and our job or school or family is only giving us five days to get from here to there and back and Uncle Leo's body is only going to be held for two more days before he is buried. Uncle Leo was not a cremation kind of guy.

Pee-Wee as Himself
Part 1 and Part 2 (May 23, 2025)

Description: IMDB wrote:
A kaleidoscopic portrait told in two parts that traces the life of the imaginative artist.

That is an apt description. I knew maybe 25%, or maybe more like 15% of what is told, but I learned a lot about Paul Reubens. I only knew the surface level stuff. It is touching that he had a chance to build his own mausoleum.
I was going to say something, but why spoil the impact?

^Oh wow, I didn't know that was happening. I love Paul Reubens. I'm going to have to find a way to see this. Thanks for posting.

The Mortician

Episode 1 of 3 (June 1, 2025)

Episode 1 discusses what David Sconce did to go to prison, and what he allegedly did but does not take responsivity for.
What he did was burn multiple bodies at once to maximize the number of bodies he could burn in a day. He says most of the ashes were unclaimed and legally dumped at sea. But when the ashes of the deceased was to be returned to the family, for instance, he did not care if the widow got the ashes of her beloved husband or a mixture of several people. He point of view? They are dead. It is not really them. If one loves someone, they "should be loved while they are alive." Almost convincing, like John Edward. But there is more.

He also removed teeth to extract the gold. (He says loved ones requested this.)
He also had fingers gut off to retrieve gold wedding rings. (Did not comment)
He has a very sociopath vibe to his attitude for all of this. (a sentiment he shares with Joni "we're all going to die" Ernest (so why swerve the car to avoid hitting people?))

There is a stand alone post about this documentary. I'm still not sure if I am going to watch parts 2 and 3. I'm sure David Sconce makes the same whether I watch or not. Also, I have some Park Eun-bin stuff that seems very appealing.

Last night I finished watching my way through Doctor Who [1963–1989] season 25.

This season Doctor Who's companion is Ace (an excellent companion, by the way—a loyal and confident teenage girl, who happens to be proficient with explosives).

...this is the second to last season of classic Doctor Who. While the Doctor and Ace this season are solid, there are otherwise some weaknesses. The writing tends to be shallow. And while the Daleks and Cybermen are worthy opponents, what the heck were they thinking with the Kandy Man?!
