I started watching The Leftovers
I'm enjoying it.
Id reckoned it if you're into nihilism because it's really nihilistic
I looked this up on IMDB and saw the description was -
The Leftovers - IMDB description wrote:
Three years after the disappearance of 2% of the global human population, a group of people in a small New York community try to continue their lives while coping with the tragedy of the unexplained nature of the event.
My first thought was, "Okay, the rapture was suppose to happen on September 23-24, 2025. What a coincidence."
I won't say anything rude about people that question the two dates in monologues and the news. I'll just say there is a point in the day where it is the 23rd where I live, and yet it is the 24th in Australia because the world it spherical and the time zones encircle the global. I only know/am aware of this because I watch Formula One racing and it happens all over the world. So race day (always a Sunday) might be Saturday where I live.
Twenty-eight episodes isn't too bad. I hope it has a solid ending and wasn't canceled before a resolution could be reached.

Gasp! Christopher Eccleston is in it.
*moments later*
I think I started watching this back when it was on. Or at least I've seen episode one.
