We watched The World's End [2013] last night.

This might have been the first time I've watched the movie since I got my ASD-1 diagnosis and now I'm wondering if the movie has some similarities to the NT and neurodiverse experiences.

The Wave

A well-crafted disaster film from Norway centered on a former marine biologist who discovers signs of an impending disaster that could destroy everything; in this case a 250-foot tsunami ready to strike without warning at all.

Because he is a former marine biologist, his former colleagues either laugh it off or disregard his claims.

Frankenstein The True Story. A 1973 made for television movie. It was far from being true to the novel.

Charade (the 1963 classic starring Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn)

I could watch this movie over and over again and not get tired of it! :D

The Andromeda Strain from 1971

A contagion flick. Tight and taught. What was notable watching in 2020 had nothing to with COVID but the lack of constant stimulation and special effects. We have grown so used to instant response and multiple things going on it took me half the movie to figure out what the “something is missing” feeling was about.

Blue Velvet 1986.

Dennis Hopper is so deranged it's actually funny in a disturbing way.
