Strange. I couldn't understand half of their 'old talk' either.

In some articles, the writer/director used "Old English" to make the time period more authentic.

IMO, the slow tension build-up in The Witch made the movie boring at first, but the scares that came later in the movie were very "old-school."

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.

I've never read the original novel on which this novel is based on, but I presume that it's the original characters pitted against legions of the walking dead threatening to destroy England. Little do they know, someone on the inside is bent on betraying the humans to the zombies. Very fun, brainless movie.

The hills have eyes. I was asking myself "why are you watching that movie?"

Cowboy Bebop - the movie. Still in love.

The virgin suicides. I liked it, it made me ponder, but also feel weird.

Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising

I saw this the other day on my birthday. This movie was hilarious and awesome! Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne had great on-screen chemistry again with Zac Efron, but Chloe Moretz was annoying!

The Adding Machine

This film was released in 1969, and I first saw it 1975-ish. I remember I'd gotten My Autobiography by Charles Chaplin for Christmas and had recent just finished it. I saw that this movie was on and Sydney Chaplin, Charlie's son, was in it so I watched it. He has a small role in the film at the end. Anyway, the movie really made an impression on me. I find I cannot write any more about it without giving away spoilers. I can only recall once that the movie has been on television since I saw it in the '70s, and that was over 10 years ago (and I missed it!).
I recently tracked down a DVD of it made from a VHS recording. If it was ever released properly on DVD or Blu-Ray, I would snap it up.

I was hoping to find a trailer to post, but I could only find this youtube video of the play (the film was based on a play).

I was flipping through the channels and came upon another movie similar to 'hills' and decided to watch 10 minutes of it. Why I thought I should be watching The Devil's Rejects is beyond me. I can't relate to people who like those movies.

I last saw:

Jungle Book: good for the whole family. lovely movie.
Civil War: Captain America: very entertaining
Graffiti Bridge: sequel to Purple Rain. It was all over the place. You can clearly see Prince's obsession with all things spiritual and God related and these obsessions are just thrown in your face. It could have been decent if he had someone honestly help him flesh out his ideas.
