Watch it, it's really fun.

Lidsmichelle, have you ever seen Ravenous? It's not a werewolf film, but based on the Wendigo. Really brilliant.

Free State Of Jones.

The story of Newton Knight, a man far ahead of his time. Knight was a Confederate soldier who deserted when he realized that the rich plantation owners, who had started the Civil War, were exempt from fighting, and even from taxation, while poor men like himself were doing all the dying and tax paying. Deserting, he returned to the impoverished Jones county in Mississippi, where he and other deserters, and escaped slaves, formed an Anti-Confederate fighting force that waged non-stop guerrilla warfare against the south, till Jones and other counties seceded from the Confederate States. After the war, he did his part for Reconstruction, aided the freed slaves in education and voting rights, and even sired a family with a black lady named Rachel who had fought alongside him, and who had fallen in love with him. There were also flashes ahead to the 1950's, where one of Knight's descendants chose prison for marrying a white woman, rather than leaving her (he was white too, but the racial idiocy of Mississippi in those days saw him a black, due to having a Rachel as an ancestor). Over all, a highly enjoyable movie that shows how not all white southerners marched lockstep with the Confederacy.

It's actually on YouTube.

I haven't seen Ravenous. I'll look it up. I'm watching Felidae right now, a German adult animated neo-noir/crime thriller about cats.

Invasion Of The Body Snatchers.

1970's version, starring Donald Sutherland. Alien spores seek to take over the human life of earth. Lives up to the classic original, in my opinion.

Tormented (1960)

A 'B' movie, made in black and white. A man is tormented by the ghost of his former lover, who tried to blackmail him shortly before dying a freak death, which he could have prevented....The ghost then goads him into killing two other people who also try to blackmail him, before he himself meets his end. All very complicated and entertaining (NOT). In fact the main thing which caught my attention was that the lead male actor, Richard Carlson, bears an amazing likeness to a younger version of the smarmy, smooth-talking Governor of the Bank of England, Mark Carney.

Creepiest movie ending... *ever*. 8O

Anyhow... I just saw Independence Day: Resurgence...

... meh... It's good to see that William Fichtner is getting more prominent roles, though. I always liked his acting...
