Rouge One: A Star Wars Story

Saw it with my sons. I loved the movie, but was bothered by one particular costume issue. I don't consider this a spoiler. Our favorite dark side villain is in it, but part of his costume is missing. It does not just look like it is missing. It is missing, resulting in it looking cheap. This is the piece that covers the bottom edge of the helmet/mask, just under neck and down the chest. This is the type of failure that will make re-watching the movie difficult for me.

However, I really enjoyed most of the movie. I'm not going to dwell on the few parts that I found annoying. It think those issues are purely subjective, and are not inherently bad.

Could have been better. Just like the other two DCU movies.

I agree. WB should have known better than to have cut most of Jared Leto's scenes from Suicide Squad.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

My wife and I took our daughter to see this. It was truly exceptional in my opinion. Made for the people who grew up with the Star Wars series, this was a much darker war movie.
Galen Erso, the Imperial engineer forced to build the Death Star, hates himself and what he's done, leaves a weak spot in the Death Star design so it can be destroyed. His daughter, Jyn, leads a rebel force called Rogue One to find the plans for the planet killing space station. The movie ends pretty well at where A New Hope begins. Darth Vader absolutely kicks ass! I consider this a first rate movie!

Didn't hate it, but I don't think I'll need to see it again. Such an Oscar-bait Sherlock Holmes movie, far too pleased with itself and its indie quirkiness and sentimentality. I'll take any of the other three current Sherlocks (Downey, Cumberbatch, Miller) any day. Too bad it took McKellen this long to play Holmes; it really should have happened circa 1979 or so.

I would like to have seen that movie Circa 1979. I think it would have been great.

Solid but unremarkable, just like the other Star Trek III. One of those movies where I really have nothing to complain about but I won't be putting it in my Top 5 Trek films any time soon.

It was okay though, not as suspenseful as the original

Awesome, I loved it.

First time viewing the extended cut. The theatrical one works better.
