A thought that occurred to me while witnessing the changing of the guard on The Tonight Show.

How conceivable is it that an Aspie can host a popular (inter)nationally broadcast talk show? How well would that work out?

My guess is "NO."

People want to watch a happy, vibrant, colorful person with facial expressions and awesome social and comedic skills. AS people really don't meet the criteria to be a talk show host. The excessive socializing and interviews would be overwhelming. You would have to perform before a live audience and a national viewing audience night after night, and engage in two hours of lively conversation with famous people. You would have to be ultra-engaging, camera friendly, and viewable.
