Hey, I watched part of this last night.
Yeah, great opening, I love the artful flamage.

Nothing beats the opening to that one Austin Powers movie. Tom Cruise as Austin Powers hahaha. Terminator 2 is one of my favortie movies, but that opening scene from Austin Powers was great.

There are openings, and then there are title sequences.

If you're talking about openings, then I consider this to be impressive.

As far as title sequences are concerned, there are too many to list.

Sorry, but the correct answer is Star Wars. First you get the 20 Century-Fox fanfare, then that very quiet unassuming opening, "Long ago in a galaxy far, far away ..." and then the title, the awe-inspiring John Williams theme song and the opening text hit you like a freight train. Finally, you get that screen-filling shot of the Imperial Star Destroyer overwhelming everything else, and that is what I call an opening.

Yes. Agreed.

Though I will also state for the record that Star Wars A New Hope is an awesome opening.

And two more

NB : You'll need to turn the volume right up on the first one.
