Even in these days of on-demand movies and online movie rentals? Well, I do go to Blockbuster and Family Video from time to time.

Nah. I got Canal+ (several different moviechannels) and get new(-ish) movies and TV series (Dexter!! !) all the time shown through cable.

I havent set my foot inside a video/dvd rental store for years. Over here, it costs about $4-$5 to rent a movie and older movies usually just cost $7-$8 in stores/malls so i rather just buy them instead.

Movies that i just HAVE to have, like Dexter - Season 2 (region 1, US Import), i order right off the web.

No, I haven't been in an overpriced, understocked, uninformed staff video store in many years. I either watch on premium channels or buy my own copies.

Nope. I usually buy my own copies of films or watch them on the internet.

I do go to the video store. One of the rare times you'll see me out of the house.

I find them to be obsolete considering the relative inexpensiveness of DVDs now. I use NetFlix if I want to see a film only once or twice and I don't want to buy it.

I think the last movie I rented from Blockbuster was Clerks II the week it came out on video. I bought that film on DVD a few months later.

Not since the video place closed down a few years ago. Before that I used to go there all the time and spend most of my pocket money there. I used to spend ages picking cheap videos. Ahhhhhh memories.

Blockbuster sucks now!

Rentals for new releases used to be like $2.99. Now they jacked up the price to $5 for a weekly rental (Which is really pointless cuz I only rent to watch once and return it the next day) and make all the old releases 99 cents but totally cut down the number and availability of old titles.

I expect Blockbuster's days are outnumbered. I'm gonna start using that RedBox machine now cuz you can rent new releases for $1 and return them the next day.

And older movies can be found EVERYWHERE on the internet,

I was using blockbuster online for a while, but they started jacking up the prices to as much as my damn cell phone bill, and they started to take days between when a movie was received and next one shipped out.
Became a huge rip-off, even with the unlimited instore rentals which gave it it's edge over netflix.

I now just buy what ever I want.

Over the last 4 years or so they've closed down probably half of the stores I know of around me.
It's a shame because I worked there through college and it was so much fun, such a relaxed and cool atmosphere and so easy.

I prefer going to the video rental place. In my opinion, it's a lot cheaper and more simple to use.

I occasionally subscribe to Netflix. They have a huge selection and no worries about late fees. Otherwise, the Redbox is kinda handy. They may not have the most popular movies but it's only a dollar. No dealing with people either. Just tap your selection on the computer screen and your on your way.

I like to go to f.y.e., because they usually have movies that no other store has.

I don't watch that many movies on youtube, because my dial-up is too slow.
