i get the idea. "a show for real men arr arr!" i know its supposed to be chovinistic and stuff, but still it sucks

you could make bimbos dance around and still make it a good show. it just sucks. its untalented. they thought the idea in itself would do all the work: it wont.

beer and tits wont do it.

first of all: move their studios to europe. america is not a good place to really be manly, since naked boobs are _illegal_ on most tv.
come to europe. here you can show all the boobs, and more, on most tv.
THAT's manly.

secondly, hire hosts w brains. being manly doesnt mean being dumb as a rock. you can be chovinistic and be smart about it, it has more impact that way too.

third, their "sketches" are painful and should be more illegal than pretty female body-parts.

Not my cup of tea in any case but as far as Europe goes I thought Benny Hill was cringe worthy.

Well, it's a moot point, as The Man Show has been out-of-production for about ten years now. Jimmy Kimmel currently has his own late night talk show on ABC (where he actually seems a bit smarter than he ever came off on TMS)and Adam Corrola is doing radio or some such.

I agree it was/is a stupid and pointless waste of airtime, especially if it's still airing in reruns. Their other project for Comedy Central, Crank Yankers was every bit as stupid as The Man Show ever was - with puppets and prank phone calls instead of beer 'n' bimbos.

There's a mathematical concept called 'the lowest common denominator', that's who the show is for...

Yeah, it sucks, always had. I remember going to Europe, and seeing what's considered 'R rated' TV over here. It's the topless billboards that really got my attention.... you know you're in a foreign country when you see that...

I've seen youtube stuff though, from foreign countries, which is the same concept, only less clothing...

It's very simple: avoid shows designed for commoners.
