I like them, and I also like family guy, futurama, and others. I know women and men who dislike these shows, and object to the "slap you in the face" kind of humor which these shows present. Am I just insensitive? I wonder if it's reliable to read from people's responses, what issues bother them, and what things they feel guilty about, by watching to see which jokes/humor elements make them cringe?

I don't watch a whole lot of TV so I don't watch anything on a regular basis. But I have thoroughly enjoyed the Simpsons when I've had the occassion to watch it. I've never watched an episode of South Park, so I couldn't comment on it, but I do generally enjoy raunchy, immature humor overall.

I love SP. It is a very serious show despite the deceiving childish look.

I like the Simpsons, King of the Hill, Family Guy, and Futurama, but I personally don't like South Park.

I like them both. South Park has gotten better with age(Randy Marsh is more funny now) while the Simpsons has gone down hill for me. Give me the classics over the newer seasons, the movie was ok.

Well if you like that stuff join the South Park fan club... by watching South Park! I love South park and have to agree with the SP getting better, Simpsons deteriorating thing. It's not that I don't like the Simpsons, but channel 4 seem to just show the same 6 episodes over and over and think like we don't notice... I like how South Park can seem so immature and rude but often has a serious message in it!

Yep, these are my shows! Simpsons was quite a big obsession for me at one point. It has without a doubt declined in quality over the years...bigtime! The first 9 or 10 seasons were the best in my opinion. Futurama is awesome too!

I'm male. And although I like both shows, I much prefer The Simpsons.

I've barely even seen any episodes of The Simpsons, so I guess I'm just indifferent to it. I do love South Park though!
