Did any of you grow up watching Disney movies? I sure did. My favorites include:

I like Disney's talking animal films.

My all time favorites are The Lion King and Bambi.

I like the old school animation style of Bambi and the fact that it's a dark film in itself. It's eerily beautiful in a way.

As for The Lion King...it's just a freakin obsession of mine...a mixture of kitties and addictive African-pop music and epic nature...love it!! !

My personal favourite is The Lion King. I thought it was very mature, very exciting, had plenty of humour and good songs (Elton John and Tim Rice!)

I also loved Snow White and Jungle Book. Most of the films I've only seen snippets or fragments of, whenever it would be on at a birthday party or something. But I think Disney produced some quality stuff back before it was all CGI.

Not that I'm a CGI-hater, it's just that the 'pencilled' animation gives it a sense of detachment from reality, if that makes sense, and that appeals to me. Being sucked into a dreamworld that isn't trying too hard to look real.

Didn't really like them as a kid, but my favorites now are:

1. The Incredibles
2. The Muppet Christmas Carol (sadly underrated)
3. Ratatouille
4. Bug's Life
5. Lion King

When I used to inspect movie theaters for a living, I ended up seeing the first 30 minutes of The Lion King 93 times!

They're all pretty good, but my top favorites are Tron and any Pixar films except for Finding Nemo. It's a good movie, but it's my least favorite Pixar movie.

I feel like I'm the only person on planet earth whose favorite disney movie happens to be The Sword in The Stone. True, its probably not Disney's most artistically successful movie, but it was the Disney movie that I watched the most when I was little. The part with Madame Mim was awesome if only for this single line of dialogue.

"Sounds like someone is sick. Good! I hope its bad. Something dreadful!"

If it counts Wall-E and the great mouse detective and both rescue mice movies.
