Aarrgghh...my NT little sister has once again taken control of the TV boxes, and I find myself sitting in front of what HAS to be THE BIGGEST load of drivel I have EVER seen!

And it occurred to me that some people on here might have some pretty strong opinions about it - it seems to reinforce every nasty stereotype of NTs I have ever heard!

Anyone seen it? Opinions! I'm curious - does it come across that way to you?

(My little sister is obsessed with Brett Michaels to the point where I'm trying to decide if it's an Aspie-style 'special interest'...or a MASSIVE celebrity crush! )

When I'm in the right mood, I find it to be one of the more hilarious shows out there. It's amazing how stupid some people are.

When I am feeling down on myself, and think that I have been left behind in the dust of the social beings on this planet, I watch reality TV and realize I am not missing out on a thing!

To be charitible, they are complete idiots, to be mean. . . well, I don't have to be mean, they beat me to it. What gets me is that those who are 'chosing' are just as brainless as those being 'chosen'. So I suppose it all works out. :)

I've seen "flavour of love" and "I love New York". Both programs were nothing but pure reality trash and I couldn't help watching them because of this.
I mean they make such fools of themselves and it's hilarious although there's only so much you can stomach.

oh, one of my guilty pleasures is telling myself I am 'observing social behaviour' but I am fascinated by perfect bodies doing the most awful things with and to each other. When my gorge finally rises, I take it as evidence that my innate good taste  is finally making me avert my gaze from the televised train wreck.

I don't like shows like that.
