Does this mean they have to kill off her King of the Hill Character?

I read that shorly after Brittany's character Luanne went to college, the character was diminished.

King of the Hill has been over for a while now. They didn't kill off Luanne.

What do you mean by that? She was still around, and was a central character to the plot of the later seasons.

Reduced role

Shortly after Luanne began attending college, her role in the series was diminished, almost to the point that the character was written out of the show (for an extended period, she did not appear in any episodes). This was due to Brittany Murphy's increasing popularity at the box office and her pursuit of a movie career. One prominent episode that came around the time of Murphy's temporary departure was a 2000 "election special" in which Hank encouraged her to become involved in politics so that she could vote for George W. Bush in the 2000 U.S. Presidential Election. During voter registration, though, Luanne was informed by a "lady in a poncho" that Bush ate puppies; Luanne took the woman on her word, and registered as a communist.

Thanks for the explanation, but after all of that, her role became more involved with the plot. Haven't you seen the later episodes with Lucky? They go out with each other, Luanne becomes pregnant, they get married (which happened in a season finale), and they raise a baby girl together. I know many people hated Lucky, but I like that character and I think he was the best thing to ever happen to Luanne.

Not to sound mean, but It's always surprising to see who dies on the celebrity death wheel. I wonder who is next?

I don't think its mean. With all of the gossip with Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears, I wouldn't be surprised about them.

I think it can also be who you least suspect.

I don't think that is mean either. I think it's just morbid. But I am fascinated by who is dying young too. It makes me wonder how it’s possible that I, someone with no common sense, can stay alive longer than these rich celebrities.

I hate the entire celebrity phenomenon, so I didn't care that she died. Of course, it's not often that I care when somebody dies, still, none of my family members have died yet.
