Chuggington is no match for good ol' Thomas!!
I've been exposed to the cbeebies channel alot these past couple of years with my toddler, and so have seen most of what they have to offer these days, and i must say i am a fan of the more traditional cartoons like thomas the tank engine, bagpuss, paddington bear, etc.
I didn't particularly like Chuggington when i first saw it... i don't like how the trains jump up and down on the tracks all the time lol. i know technology is much better than 10-20 tears ago but in my opinion there is too much CGI in children's cartoons these days, though i do like Jane and the Dragon lol, if anyone's seen that one, and i guess CGI is a good tool, so i understand why they use it. For me, the stop-motion ones like Thomas the Tank Engine have a certain charm, and feel like more love has gone into the production of them.

Surprisingly for someone who is a railfan, I have never been into Thomas. I have watched it, I think its well made and all. However, I would not call myself a true fan of Thomas or this new show.

What I'd like to see is more rail shows on TV, about real trains.
